GARLIC

Type of Garlic

The name garlic was derived from the Old English word garleac. Literally, interpreted, the latter means “spear leek,” making reference to the lanceolate shape of the plant’s cloves. However, there are two main types of garlic: hardneck and softneck.

READY FOR EXPORT

The hardneck varieties produce a flowering stalk which is surrounded by underground cloves and are considered to be more flavorful and easier to peel than softneck, making them the best choice of most chefs. However, the hardneck garlic does not store well.

The Softneck varieties also called silverskin, generally do not flower and form seed, but often produce bulblets on their stem. They are considered to be more productive and easier to grow than hardneck varieties. Under proper conditions softneck varieties can be stored from six to eight months. Most of the garlic found at supermarkets is of the softneck type.

The Soil, Weather and ph level for Garlic

  1. Thanks for sharing your ideas on this blog. Furthermore, a delusion regarding the lenders intentions if talking about foreclosures is that the loan company will not have my payments. There is a fair bit of time that this bank will require payments from time to time. If you are as well deep within the hole, they should commonly demand that you pay the payment in full. However, i am not saying that they will have any sort of payments at all. In case you and the lender can find a way to work one thing out, the foreclosure procedure may end. However, if you continue to miss out on payments in the new strategy, the home foreclosure process can pick up where it was left off.

    1. Jacinto Venskoske, Thank you for shedding more light about foreclosures. Although i don’t know the terms and conditions of borrowing loan from bank but i believe as you have said “in case you find a way to work one thing out, the foreclosure procedure may end” which boils down to trust, commitment and the willingness to get out of loan. I believe that if there is willingness that is backup with sincerity to pay back, anyone can get out of it.

  2. The very heart of your writing while appearing reasonable initially, did not really sit well with me personally after some time. Somewhere within the paragraphs you managed to make me a believer unfortunately only for a very short while. I still have got a problem with your jumps in logic and one might do well to help fill in those gaps. If you can accomplish that, I will certainly be impressed.

    1. Thank you @proxiesslive.com. I read through your heart touching comment and i was left with so much thoughts of improving the content and the message of my blog. However, I still want you to visit my blog and read some of the few health tips there, and once in a month to check for new update on health matters.

  3. Pretty nice post. I just stumbled upon your blog and wanted to say that I’ve really enjoyed surfing around your blog posts. In any case I’ll be subscribing to your rss feed and I hope you write again soon!
